Step 1: Power On the Laptop
- Press the Power
button on your laptop. (make sure the laptop is plugged into
power)
- Wait
for the Welcome screen to appear.
This may take a few minutes if the device is
starting for the first time.
Step 2: Select Your Region & Keyboard
- Choose
United States (or your local region).
- Select
your keyboard layout.
Skip
adding a second keyboard layout unless you need one.
Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi
- Select
your Wi-Fi network: TheBlackhawkGroup.
- Enter
the Wi-Fi password and click Connect.
A stable internet connection is required to
complete setup.
Step 4: Sign In with Your Work Account
- When
prompted, enter your work email address
(example: yourname@blackhawk.aero) - Click Next.
- Enter
your work account password.
- Complete
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if prompted.
This
is your company account, not a personal Microsoft account.
Step 5: Device Is Being Set Up (Autopilot)
After you sign in, Windows will automatically configure your
laptop.
You may see messages such as:
- Setting
up your device
- Installing
apps
- Applying
security policies
This can take 20–30 minutes.
Please do not turn off the laptop during this time.
Important Note: If It gets stuck or gives an
error message during the app install process, please click the “Continue
Anyway” button at the bottom right of the screen.
Step 6: Automatic Restarts
- Your
laptop may restart one or more times.
- This
is normal during setup.
- Simply
let the process continue.
Step 7: Setup Completion
When setup is complete:
- You
will be logged into Windows
- Company
applications will continue installing in the background
- You
may begin using your laptop
Some apps may take additional time to finish
installing after you’ve gotten completely signed in.
